Free art supplies and other goodies! Pay shipping plz.

An extremely early spring cleaning has unearthed the following, which are not worth enough to eBay but you might want them.

If you're OK with paying shipping (I'll tell you how much it turned out to be after doing so -- sound good?), go ahead and call dibs on as many things as you want in comments here so everybody knows it's taken. Then email me with what it was you claimed and your address at jen@beware-of-art.com, and we're good. :)

Art stuff:

  • a pair of canvas pullers
  • an electric staple gun -- to jaeai
  • a non-electric staple gun
  • Pack of clear (shiny) shrinky dink film -- to jaeai -- you might need to sand it if you're not using a media that can deal with shiny. Find baking instructions online. I suggest using matboard as a "cookie" sheet.
  • Two 50-sheet packs of inkjet-compatible cotton watercolor paper -- to jaeai
  • 13" inkjet canvas roll -- to jaeai -- expensive! But I don't care, it's old and orphaned, the printer is gone... you can cut it into 8.5" sections and use with another printer.
  • Gold leafing supplies and various colors of mica dust. I don't recall if any of the gold leaf is real (I bought both kinds back in the day).

Art stuff I forgot until reminded after posting that first list:

  • A brand new boxed toolkit for heavy-duty scrapbooking -- setting eyelets specifically. Includes a leetle hammer, rivet-setters of various shapes, piercing awls, etc.
  • Hand-cranked tiny pasta machine -- for making sheets of polymer clay (Fimo, Sculpy) or PMC

Non-art stuff:

How does the watercolor/inkjet canvas paper work, anyway? Would it be something that the kids could use for artwork? Lira-chan loves her some kids artwork.

Hmm, well, the surface is specially prepped for inkjets, so I find that that part of the surface gets a bit shreddish if painted upon much. Maybe they wouldn't care, though, eh?

SOLD to the pretty lady in blue!

... well sold isn't the right term, but yeah. :) The staple gun comes with staples and the Pirates cards also include a few neat pewter gizmos -- some treasure markers (somewhere in there) and a neat card-sized distance measuring thingy. Much classier than using a card edge.

Email me your addy (and make sure I know it's you).

*headdesk* Duhr. Note to self: REMEMBER that.

Brooklyn sounds familiar. I just mailed check a couple weeks ago after all!

okies, I'll take all the kinds of paper, too, then, and save you having to mail a bunch of packages. And the shrinky dink paper...I can get up to all KINDS of evil with that.

If asked, we did this by total accident.

Yeah, it was just randomly mailed to you by a passing maniac. BTW, the DH informs me that there's actually only one pack of paper.

Also, he informs me I forgot to list two things... I'll add them above right now!

What sort of things can the eyelet setter handle? Think it could set them in leather? If so, total dibs :D

Gosh, uh, I don't know that it'd be heavy duty enough for leather, even one layer of thin leather. It's really for paper. Sorry. ;_;

(I've used leather eyelets and pop-riveters before... definitely bigger tools for that!)

Doh! Alright, guess there's naught for me then. Good luck though ♥
